In addition, players may have additional chips that are not part of the betting pool, known as stubs or small blinds.
It is important to play strong value hands. This will force weaker hands to fold and make your bluffs more effective. It is also important to know when to fold a bad hand. A lot of amateur players will chase ludicrous draws with mediocre hands. Don’t let your ego get the better of you and keep throwing good money at a loser.
